Graduate Schemes and Work Experience
If you are a graduate and are considering Town Planning as a career, or if you would like to learn more about what the profession involves, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and we’d be more than happy to speak with you about graduate opportunities and the wider role of Town Planners.
Cover Letters
We also appreciate Cover Letters and understand they are a great way for us to get to know you prior to an interview; however, these can often take time and we believe the best way to get to know someone is in person. Therefore, all applications, unless specifically stated, do not require a Cover Letter to be considered. Applicants are welcome to prepare one if they feel it would better showcase their experience and interest in a role, but they are not mandatory.
Commitment to Applicants
We appreciate that preparing a CV and Cover Letter and sending it across can take time and, sometimes, job searching can be a long-drawn-out experience. Therefore, we are committed to responding to every application we receive, including speculative applications, for professionals and graduates, no matter what the outcome*.

Additionally, all applicants are welcome to request feedback in the period two weeks following any interview outcome response.
*Please note - this does not apply to applicants who do not enquire with Viable Placemaking directly, including those who to us via a recruitment agency, who may receive feedback at Viable Placemaking's discretion.
